SETUP
Two Switches, One Handshake.
On the Mac: Settings > AI > Enable Remote Runners - "Allow your iOS devices to run your functions on this device."
On iOS: Settings > AI > Leverage your Macs for Functions.
With both switches on, the phone lists your Macs by name and connects to one. The Mac has to be awake with Pachinko open - the connection stops with the app.
THE HANDSHAKE
There is no pairing code to type. Sign both devices into the same iCloud account and they find each other. The key that encrypts the traffic lives in your iCloud Keychain, synced between your own devices, and the phone checks that a Mac holds the key before handing it any work - a machine that is not yours is refused. A Mac whose keys have not synced yet waits under Pending until iCloud catches up.
RUNNING ONE
On the phone a Function runs the way it runs on the Mac: drag notes onto it. The row lights up, the run queues at home, and the row tracks the state - queued, running, done - with a stop button if you change your mind. The Mac runs it with its own provider and models, on your plan.
WHAT COMES BACK
Output lands wherever the Function's settings put it, then iCloud carries it to every device. Commands travel end-to-end encrypted through a relay that cannot read them.
