THE IDEA
New Information, On Schedule
Feeds are scheduled recipes that bring new information into Pachinko. A feed runs on the schedule you choose, uses the selected agent and model, and can save new notes into your Inbox or a selected destination project.
If a Feed uses AI, the prompt, inputs, and any attached Function context are sent to the AI provider you configured. Review that context before scheduling a Feed to run unattended.
Create one from the Feeds queue by clicking +, or from the Feeds browser with +. Pick a recipe, set its schedule, fill in any required variables, and optionally choose Functions to run after the feed creates new notes.

CUSTOM PROMPT
A Scheduled MCP Routine
Custom Prompt is the most flexible feed. It is not just a prompt that runs every day. It is a scheduled MCP-powered routine that can look around visible Pachinko data, decide what needs attention, create sections, create notes, move notes, update metadata, and queue Functions.
Projects hidden with Hide from AI are skipped during ordinary Custom Prompt scans. If you deliberately provide notes or sections from a hidden project as context, Pachinko treats that as context you chose to use.
Use Custom Prompt for daily inbox triage, project audits, stale-note reviews, scheduled research routines, or any recurring job where Pachinko should inspect the workspace and create structured follow-up.
Good Custom Prompt jobs
- Review my Inbox every morning and group related notes into projects.
- Find stale active notes and summarize next actions.
- Audit a project every Friday and write a status note.
- Run a scheduled research routine, save new notes, then queue Functions for analysis.
