THE INTEGRATION

Apple Reminders Sync to Your Inbox

Pachinko syncs with Apple Reminders, which means you can capture tasks using Siri, your Apple Watch, the Reminders app on any device, or any other app that talks to Apple Reminders. However you create them - voice commands, watch taps, quick phone entries - they all sync to Pachinko's Inbox automatically. This gives you multiple ways to capture tasks when typing into Pachinko isn't convenient. Gary calls this "reducing friction in the capture workflow." I call it "yelling at my watch while cooking and somehow it works."

  • syncs from Apple Reminders (Siri, Watch, Reminders app, etc.)
  • arrives in Pachinko Inbox automatically
  • you can Check off quick ones or import for full treatment
  • not just Siri Any way you add to Apple Reminders works
  • perfect for When opening Pachinko isn't convenient
  • the magic Capture in chaos, organize in peace
  • HOW IT WORKS

When synced reminders hit your Inbox, you've got options. Quick tasks can be checked off immediately - done, gone, beautiful. Anything that needs actual organization gets imported as a full Pachinko task where you can add notes, file it properly, and give it the attention it deserves. This way nothing falls through the cracks, even when you captured it while simultaneously juggling literal objects. Which, based on my cooking habits, happens more often than it should.

    Setting Up Reminders Sync

  • enable Connect Apple Reminders in settings
  • capture anywhere Siri, Watch, Reminders app, shortcuts-whatever works
  • they appear In Inbox next time you open Pachinko
  • quick ones Check them off if they're simple
  • the rest Import and organize properly
  • Siri Voice Commands

  • basic "Hey Siri, remind me to..."
  • with time "...tomorrow at 2pm" or "...in 30 minutes"
  • no date Appears in Inbox timeline
  • today's date Appears in Today view timeline
  • future date Appears in Upcoming view
  • Actual Scenarios This Saves

  • driving Eyes on road, critical email remembered anyway
  • cooking Hands covered in marinade, task captured via watch
  • mid-conversation Someone mentions the thing-quick Siri capture, no interruption
  • at 3am Brain won't shut up, whisper to phone, sleep restored
  • the win Zero thoughts lost to inconvenient timing
